I present to your attention the gallery of the NFT collection "Animals and Flags" created by me.

196 images were made by hand, in a vector graphics editor, over the course of four years.

The collection features images of national or significant animals of a particular country, depicted in the colors and symbols of national flags.

This collection has a unique meaning, since the images are connected by a common idea and are made in a single style.

Hello everyone! My name is Adam. I am an ordinary person, I have many hobbies, including vector graphics editors.
At the beginning of 2021, I got the idea to depict some animals that are symbols of countries, stylized in the colors and attributes of the corresponding state flags.
My first works were very different from the subsequent ones in their simplicity of execution and a small number of details.

The Story of My NFT Art

In the course of my work, I decided to complete the work and depict the national animals of all known and recognized countries of the world. Since no one had done such work, I thought it was quite an interesting idea. At the same time, some countries do not have generally recognized national animals and perhaps my images will push them to certain actions in this direction.

This is how the basis of my NFT project was born. Over time and as my experience grew, the images became more detailed and later, I had to redo some of them. And since I was doing this alone, the work dragged on for a long time. You can see how big the differences are between the original images and their improved copies.

Interesting fact: during my long work, the flag of Honduras changed color, in 2022, the dark blue stripes and stars changed color to turquoise. Had to repaint)

For the reason that some countries do not have officially recognized symbolic animals, it was necessary to study the history and geography of these countries, fauna, local features and attractions for the most accurate choice.
Now I am quite well oriented in the geographical location of countries, their capitals and, of course, flags and coats of arms.

In some countries, national animals are mythical creatures or animals that do not live there, in this case, I depicted them in the form of existing monuments and sculptures.

For four years, almost every day, all my free time I devoted to creating my collection. Here is an approximate progress of work on one image.

Once all 196 images were ready, I started posting them on Instagram, Twitter, and Deviantart, and also launched the NFT collection on OpenSea and Rarible on the Ethereum blockchain.
